The Problem

Business Impact

Transactions per second (TPS) is a critical metric for blockchain networks. There was no reliable tool to stress-test PrimeLab's distributed ledger and measure network throughput under load.

Constraints

CLI tool had to produce accurate, repeatable TPS measurements under varied load scenarios.

02

Technical Execution

Architectural Strategy

Built a CLI benchmarking utility in Go to stress-test decentralized ledger networks and report transaction throughput metrics.

Depth of Execution

Configurable load parameters - concurrent connections, transaction rates, and test duration. Outputs real-time TPS metrics and summary statistics. Used to validate network performance before production deployments.

03

Results

  • Network TPS benchmarked and validated under production-equivalent load.
  • Performance regressions caught before deployment.
  • Repeatable test suite for ongoing network performance monitoring.
Future Proofing

CLI tool parameterized for any Web3 network - reusable across different ledger implementations.
